Pre-Treatment Care Instructions
1. Avoid tanning beds and sunless tanning products to prevent adverse reactions.
2. Avoid sun exposure greater than 30 minutes, even if wearing sunscreen.
3. Treatment area must be clean-shaven 12-24 hours prior to treatment. Unshaved clients will be subject to an additional charge.
4. Skin must be clean and free of makeup, lotions, oils, deodorant, sunless tanning products, numbing cream, etc. Products on the skin can increase the likelihood of adverse reactions from the laser.
5. Avoid physical activities that increase body temperature for at least 2 hours before treatments.
6. Skin that is sunburned, hot to the touch, peeling or is otherwise damaged cannot be treated.
Post-Treatment Care Instructions
1. Only Shave. Any other form of hair removal may result in reversing the treatment undertaken
2. Wait at least 4-5 days before you shave again
3. Avoid all UV rays (both Sun and Artificial) and wear UV protection in the weeks that follow treatment if you are going to be exposed to UV rays
4. Avoid applying cosmetics to the treated area for 24 hours
5. Wear loose clothing
6. Avoid Hot water for 24 hours
7. Lightly exfoliate the treated area three to five days following treatment8. Do not scratch or rub the treated area. If itchy or irritated, apply Aloe Vera to help alleviate these symptoms.
